A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team, focusing on insurance defense and trucking and transportation litigation. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere within Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate has strong litigation experience, excellent client relations skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced caseload. Duties:

  • Represent clients in various legal matters, including court appearances and regulatory hearings.
  • Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents on behalf of clients.
  • Advise clients on legal strategies, guiding them to achieve favorable case outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct initial investigations to gather evidence and assess case viability.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards and ethical regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • 2+ years of experience in trucking and transportation litigation.
  • At least 2 years of litigation experience in Pennsylvania.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective case strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear client communication and courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
