Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated and motivated Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Lock Haven, PA. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse legal matters across various practice areas while collaborating with experienced attorneys. The firm serves a broad clientele, including individuals, businesses, and municipalities, across multiple counties. Duties:

  • Provide effective and timely legal counsel and representation to clients.

  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and motions.

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.

  • Communicate with courts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and clients in a professional manner.

  • Manage an assigned caseload while supporting senior attorneys in complex cases.

  • Track and submit billable hours weekly.

  • Supervise legal staff and delegate work as needed.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and legal trends.

  • Attend occasional municipal meetings and travel to nearby communities as required.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and case law.
