PI Pre Litigation Attorney

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of personal injury (PI) cases, including client contact, record review, and negotiating settlements.
• Manage staff members supporting case preparation.
• Work closely with a team of attorneys, legal assistants, medical record specialists, and nurse consultants.
• Prepare cases for settlement or trial, ensuring thorough workup.
• Regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other legal professionals over the phone and in person.
• Collaborate with the firm to maintain and promote a culture of teamwork, integrity, and client-focused results.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• Prior experience in personal injury law preferred, but willing to train qualified candidates.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail.
• Highly organized and able to multitask effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois (required).
