Associate Attorney Insurance Coverage Litigation

Job Overview: An established law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation to join their Las Vegas office. The role offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex insurance coverage cases, representing clients in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, experience with property and liability insurance, and a strong understanding of insurance litigation matters.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents related to insurance coverage litigation.
• Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis/Nexis.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide recommendations for clients.
• Manage litigation-related tasks such as reviewing documents and preparing for hearings and mediations.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Submit filings and other legal documents to the court.

Requirements:

• Active admission to practice law in Nevada (additional admissions in other states are a plus).
• 4-6 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
• Strong academic background and a solid professional work history.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
