Patent Prosecution Associate Attorney

Atlanta office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent prosecution associate attorney with 4 years of experience. The candidate will assist in all aspects of global portfolio strategy and management, including obtaining IP rights in the US and abroad. Must have IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution, a mechanical engineering degree (advanced degrees and/or work experience prior to law school strongly preferred), and USPTO membership. Should have familiarity with machinery, mechanical, and/or electromechanical systems. IP transactional experience also is a plus. Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia. Knowledge and experience with other forms of intellectual property protection are a plus.

The candidate should be driven, possess a desire to develop and invest in their careers and the Firm, desire to work with a national/international client platform and demonstrate superior client service ability. Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities.
