Duties

  • Represent management clients in employment-related litigation matters
  • Handle cases involving federal and state labor laws, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and State Human Rights Law
  • Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests
  • Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies
  • Manage case files and ensure adherence to deadlines and court procedures
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials
  • Independently manage caseloads and contribute to team efforts when needed

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in litigation, ideally in labor and employment law
  • Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and State Human Rights Law
  • Experience with wage and hour class action litigation is a plus, but not required
  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Capable of working independently and handling a diverse caseload
  • Excellent verbal communication and client interaction skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
