A law firm seeks a Document Review Attorney for their Wilkesboro, NC, location.

Job Overview:

The Document Review Attorney will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and approving foreclosure-related pleadings. They will also handle and coordinate responses to correspondence or outreach relating to the pleadings, conduct pre-foreclosure title reviews, learn the title claim and title clearance process, and participate in regular client meetings/updates. Additionally, they will be expected to manage and prioritize a large caseload and handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

Duties:

  • Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure-related pleadings.
  • Handling and coordinating responses to correspondence or outreach relating to the pleadings.
  • Conducting pre-foreclosure title reviews.
  • Participating in regular client meetings/updates.
  • Undertaking other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate.
  • Member in good standing of the NC Bar.
  • 1-2 years of foreclosure experience.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service orientation.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues on time.
  • Conscientiousness regarding work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach while working at a fast pace and capable of multitasking.
