Job Overview: A law firm in Rochester, NY is seeking an Environmental Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience. Duties:

  • Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, briefs, and opinions.
  • Represent clients in environmental enforcement actions and proceedings.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in environmental law.
  • Strong litigation and/or regulatory experience in environmental matters.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state environmental laws.
  • Experience in environmental permitting, renewable energy development, and environmental due diligence.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • New York Bar or Washington, D.C. license.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar or Washington, D.C. Bar.
