Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in class action defense and complex commercial litigation and the ability to manage a multi-matter docket effectively.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.
• Meet deadlines and exceed expectations in performing work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships and collaborate effectively within the firm.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience managing a multi-matter docket and handling class action defense.
• Experience with complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
• Previous federal clerkship is preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.

Education and Certifications:

• Bar Admission in good standing.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.
