Job Overview:

A prominent law firm is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate or Counsel to join a dynamic and growing Class Action group. The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of substantive experience in complex litigation and have a strong interest in handling cutting-edge class action matters. Experience in defending class action lawsuits, such as employment discrimination, workplace privacy, wage and hour claims, and other related areas, is highly preferred. The role offers an opportunity to work within a collegial team of skilled employment law professionals and class action litigators.

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and defend class action lawsuits, particularly in areas such as employment discrimination, workplace privacy, wage and hour claims, and consumer fraud.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and litigation advice to clients in complex class action cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal briefs, motions, and other documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and professionals in the firm on various legal matters.
  • Stay abreast of developments in class action law and related fields to ensure high-quality legal services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of substantive experience in complex litigation, with a focus on class action matters.
  • Strong experience in defending class action lawsuits, particularly in employment law, privacy law, wage and hour claims, and consumer protection.
  • Proven ability to handle large-scale litigation and manage a caseload independently.
  • Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive working environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in the state where the position is based.
