Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dedicated Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney to join its team. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on matters related to trust administration and estate planning.
  • Draft and review various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Assist clients in wealth transfer strategies, charitable giving, and tax planning.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various trust and estate issues.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and client matters.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure timely communication and updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience practicing in trusts and estates law.
  • Proven experience in trust administration and drafting estate planning documents.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
