Mid-level Business Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a mid-level Business Litigation Associate to join its Cleveland office. Duties:

• Handle a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to business disputes, contract disputes, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare other legal documents.
• Provide support in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial discovery to post-trial proceedings.
• Participate in court appearances and client meetings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Manage case files and ensure timely completion of legal tasks.
• Assist in drafting legal briefs and reports for clients and the court.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Prior clerkship experience is a plus (but not required).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the state of Ohio.
