A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Global Franchise and Supply Network Associate Attorney to join their team. This role involves working on various aspects of franchise and distribution law, including developing and structuring franchise programs, handling franchise contract issues, and managing international development. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, law firm experience, and excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and structure franchise and distributor programs.
• Assess and provide counsel on various franchise contract and relationship issues.
• Draft and review franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements.
• Perform state registrations for franchises and manage compliance.
• Negotiate and draft supply contracts and other related transactions.
• Assist in resolving franchise disputes and managing related litigation.
• Handle international development and cross-border transactions related to franchise and supply networks.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments affecting franchise and supply networks.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
• 2-5 years of experience in franchise and distribution law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Proven experience in drafting franchise agreements and disclosure documents.
• Experience with state registrations and compliance for franchise operations.
• Familiarity with international franchise law and cross-border transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal issues and transactions.
