Job Overview

A respected law firm located in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Associate Attorney to join its family law practice. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for a legal professional with a strong foundation in domestic relations and courtroom advocacy. Duties

  • Represent clients in divorce, custody, and other family law matters

  • Manage a diverse caseload from intake to resolution

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal support staff on strategy and case development

  • Ensure all client records and case files are thoroughly maintained and updated

  • Provide strategic guidance based on current family law statutes and case law

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law

  • Familiarity with Colorado domestic relations procedures and courts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated courtroom experience, including motions practice and trials

  • Proven ability to manage time and caseloads efficiently

  • High level of professionalism and ethical judgment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to the Colorado Bar (required)
