A law firm in Saint Louis, MI, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Construction Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction litigation matters, as well as real estate and commercial litigation. They should demonstrate a dedicated interest in all stages of litigation, possess excellent academic credentials, and excel in communication and teamwork.

 

Duties:

  • Handle construction litigation matters, real estate, and commercial litigation cases.
  • Assist in other local business litigation disputes in the region.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Take and defend fact, party, and expert depositions.
  • Engage in motion practice and court appearances.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior associates and legal staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of construction and/or commercial/real estate litigation experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction litigation matters.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of construction litigation, real estate, and commercial litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
