Duties

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draft essential legal documents related to their cases
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings, provide strategic guidance after each hearing
• Conduct court appearances, draft motions, interview witnesses, and perform in-depth legal research
• Assess probable outcomes of cases through legal analysis and precedent
• Manage a caseload and deliver timely, thorough legal analysis for clients
• Collect and review evidence to support defense cases and counter-prosecution arguments
• Prepare clients for depositions, define case strategies, and coordinate with witnesses and expert testimonies

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law
• Demonstrated interest in criminal defense law, evidenced through law school clinics, internships, or volunteer experience
• Case management experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctorate

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law
