Job Overview:

The Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including drafting legal motions, preparing for court proceedings and depositions, and effectively communicating with clients and opposing counsel.

Duties:

• Manage intake and review of cases
• Actively handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting requests, responses, and motions
• Prepare for mediation and trial proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
• Conduct depositions and participate in court proceedings
• Draft legal motions and pleadings

Requirements:

• Valid Florida Bar license is required
• Previous experience in insurance defense litigation is highly desirable
• 2+ years of experience in drafting legal motions, preparing for court proceedings and depositions, and communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
