Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm located in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a qualified Litigation Attorney with a minimum of two years of experience in commercial and general liability litigation. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely within Southern California. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in complex litigation matters and a deep understanding of both state and federal court procedures.

Duties:

• Manage commercial and general liability litigation matters from inception to trial

• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents

• Handle discovery processes, including depositions and legal research

• Analyze professional liability coverage and perform case evaluations

• Engage in trial preparation and conduct litigation strategy planning

• Represent clients in both state and federal court settings

• Provide ongoing legal research and support in complex cases

• Communicate and negotiate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts

• Work efficiently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Requirements:

• Must be a member of the California Bar in good standing

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in general liability matters

• Proven ability to handle litigation cases from start to finish

• Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and e-discovery tools

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Excellent academic credentials

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar is required

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal documents

• Proficiency in legal technology, including case management and discovery platforms
