The role involves managing negotiations and settlements across a large docket of personal injury cases, supported by a dedicated intake team, medical records clerks, lien specialists, and paralegals.

Duties

  • Handle all aspects of negotiating and settling pre-litigation personal injury cases
  • Collaborate with a team including intake specialists, clerks, and paralegals to maintain organized case management
  • Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel to drive case resolutions
  • Review and analyze case data, ensuring comprehensive attention to detail
  • Support the client through each stage of pre-litigation until the negotiation and settlement phases
  • Maintain and update case files within the firm’s database with accuracy and confidentiality

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience managing personal injury cases, particularly pre-litigation negotiations
  • Ability to work effectively within a high-volume, fast-paced legal environment
  • Strong communication skills for client and inter-professional interactions
  • Attention to detail, especially regarding medical records and lien management
  • Proficiency in case management software and databases

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in the State of Georgia

Skills

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in legal research and document review
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within a legal team
