Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, multi-party litigation in the environmental law space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent writing skills, and a passion for environmental law, particularly in areas like CERCLA. As a member of the team, you will collaborate closely with senior partners to drive litigation strategies and provide top-tier legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Handle complex multi-party litigation, with a focus on environmental law
• Engage in discovery processes, including propounding and responding to discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and contribute to the development of litigation strategies
• Draft detailed legal briefs and motions
• Work collaboratively with senior partners and other team members
• Provide strategic input and contribute to case management

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
• Proven track record in handling complex litigation
• Strong litigation writing skills
• Environmental law experience, particularly with CERCLA, is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar is required
