Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience to join its energy mineral title practice. This position offers the flexibility to work from multiple office locations or remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in general property and/or mineral title law within the energy sector. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and legal teams.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on energy mineral title matters.
  • Draft, review, and revise title opinions and related legal documents.
  • Advise clients on property and mineral title issues within the energy sector.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop strategic solutions.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the energy industry.

Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience in energy law, mineral title, or general property law.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with legal teams and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and teamwork.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
