Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled and proactive Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in White Plains, NY. Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documents.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on intricate commercial and construction law issues.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all deadlines and obligations are met.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation cases.
• Stay updated on the latest legal developments in commercial and construction law to ensure client interests are effectively represented.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar, or eligibility for admission.
• 3-7 years of experience in litigation (experience in commercial litigation or construction law is preferred, but not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated interest in commercial and/or construction law.
• Capability to work both independently and as a team player.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility for admission.
