Immigration Consult Attorney

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation on various immigration matters, including asylum, removal proceedings, family-based filings, and naturalization. Location:

• Miami, FL

Duties:

• Communicate with clients regularly to understand their legal needs, provide legal guidance, and keep them informed of case developments
• Provide expert legal advice on immigration matters such as asylum, removal proceedings, defensive applications for relief, family-based filings, naturalization, family-based consular processing, VAWA applications, and I-212/I-601A waivers
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support legal opinions and recommendations
• Develop legal strategies for client cases from start to finish
• Stay current with changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies that could impact clients
• Travel outside of the state as necessary for client representation
• Maintain a high level of empathy and passion for client success

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in Spanish
• Experience in handling complex immigration cases, including asylum, removal proceedings, and family-based filings
• Strong advocacy skills with a passion for helping clients
• Ability to travel outside the state when needed
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Strong legal research and writing skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar

Skills:

• Fluent in Spanish
• In-depth knowledge of immigration laws and regulations
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
