Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate with 5-8 years of experience in real estate and commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex real estate deals, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects. Duties:

  • Manage real estate closings and complex transactions independently.
  • Review title commitments, surveys, and other key documents.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint development agreements, and construction escrow agreements.
  • Draft covenants, conditions, restrictions, and easements for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Handle and manage closings of real estate transactions.
  • Review and draft operating agreements, joint venture documents, leases, and declarations.
  • Analyze complex real estate data and communicate key legal issues to clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders on multiple real estate matters simultaneously.
  • Identify critical legal issues and propose solutions to address them.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in real estate and commercial transactions.
  • Strong ability to manage complex real estate closings and negotiations.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint development agreements, and construction escrow agreements.
  • Experience drafting covenants, conditions, restrictions, and easements for real estate projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple complex matters.
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally, for clear interaction with clients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and address material issues in legal matters.
  • Arizona law license required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Arizona state bar is required.
