Structured Credit CLO Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Structured Credit CLO Associate Attorney for its leading structured finance practice in Washington, DC.

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Assisted in structuring, negotiation, and documentation of collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to structured credit transactions.
• Draft and review transactional documents, including offering memoranda, indentures, and agreements.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice accordingly.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex transactions and regulatory matters.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of structured finance experience, preferably focusing on CLOs.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in Washington, DC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting legal documents.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations about structured finance and securities.
