Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial sales and purchases, providing legal advice and support throughout the process.
  • Facilitate real estate financings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Advise clients on land use matters if interested and applicable.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence for real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and related documents.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on real estate matters to protect their interests.
  • Maintain organized and detailed case files and documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in real estate law.
  • Experience in commercial leasing.
  • Experience with residential sales and purchases (coops, condos, houses).
  • Experience with commercial sales and purchases.
  • Experience with real estate financings.
  • Interest in land use is a plus.
  • Must be admitted to the NY Bar.
  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, management, and administrative skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar is mandatory.
