Real Estate Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commercial leasing, residential and commercial sales and purchases, real estate financings, and potentially land use. This role requires admission to the NY Bar and strong analytical, judgment, interpersonal, management, and administrative skills. Responsibilities:

• Handle commercial leasing transactions, including drafting and negotiating lease agreements.
• Assist clients with residential sales and purchases, including coops, condos, and houses.
• Manage commercial sales and purchases, providing legal advice and support throughout the process.
• Facilitate real estate financings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Advise clients on land use matters if interested and applicable.
• Conduct thorough due diligence for real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and related documents.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on real estate matters to protect their interests.
• Maintain organized and detailed case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in real estate law.
• Experience in commercial leasing.
• Experience with residential sales and purchases (coops, condos, houses).
• Experience with commercial sales and purchases.
• Experience with real estate financings.
• Interest in land use is a plus.
• Must be admitted to the NY Bar.

Education:
