Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes and trends in family law.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and effectively present cases in front of judges and other legal authorities.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other legal staff to ensure efficient case management and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in New York and in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in family law litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and support to clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
