Duties

  • Represent banks and private credit funds in loan transactions, focusing on technology, life sciences, and middle-market companies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide timely and high-quality legal services to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties verbally and in writing.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure all work complies with the firm's policies and practices.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person meetings and conference calls as required.
  • Maintain a collaborative work environment and foster positive professional relationships.
  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4+ years of lender-side representation experience in commercial finance.
  • Prior experience working at an AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and work under pressure.
  • Excellent business judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic legal setting.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
