Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, from intake to trial or settlement.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions, and handle discovery processes.
• Lead mediation and negotiations with opposing counsel.
• Present court cases, acting as first-chair trial attorney.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Proven track record as a 1st chair trial attorney with successful jury verdicts.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions and handling complex litigation matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in Texas and good standing with the State Bar.

Certifications:

• Active Texas State Bar membership is required.
• Additional certifications or licenses related to personal injury or civil litigation (preferred but not required).

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
