Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Morristown is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience in handling commercial litigation pending in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate must possess strong writing skills and be admitted to the New Jersey Bar, with New York Bar admission considered a plus.

Duties:

• Manage commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Stay updated on developments in commercial law and legal precedents.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
