Litigation Member Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Member Attorney for their Memphis, TN location.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Member Attorney will lead litigation efforts, representing clients in Tennessee. The role requires a Juris Doctorate degree or better and licensure to practice law in Tennessee, along with a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience.

Duties:

• Lead litigation efforts, representing clients in Tennessee.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree or better.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong litigation skills, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree or better from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in Tennessee.

Skills:
