Duties

• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on defense legal projects
• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs to support defense strategies
• Provide timely legal advice, status reports, and other client services
• Ensure the prompt, efficient, and effective resolution of assigned cases
• Independently prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations, and mediations

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
• 2 to 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in automobile defense
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, TABS, and Abacus software is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
