Job Title: Mid-Level Commercial Contracts/Supply Chain Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in New York City, NY, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its thriving Business Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a broad spectrum of businesses across multiple sectors, supporting clients with complex commercial agreements and supply chain-related transactions. The position involves working with a cohesive team of skilled attorneys across various offices, offering strong mentorship, professional development opportunities, and meaningful engagement in community-focused initiatives.

Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial contracts, including:

    • Manufacturing Agreements

    • Distribution Agreements

    • Sales Broker Agreements

    • Raw Material Supply Agreements

    • Packaging Supply Agreements

    • Equipment Lease Agreements

    • Equipment Purchase Agreements

    • Product Purchase, Sale, and Supply Agreements

  • Provide counsel on contract law matters and risk management strategies

  • Collaborate closely with cross-office teams and contribute to multi-disciplinary client projects

  • Engage in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and pro bono matters

  • Maintain responsive, professional service to a wide array of clients

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring thorough attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling commercial contracts and supply chain agreements

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks

  • Proven experience working with clients in the consumer goods or consumer products industries is preferred

  • Commitment to outstanding client service and excellent communication practices

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities

  • Strong negotiation skills tailored to varied industries and contract types

  • High level of professionalism and responsiveness

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage concurrent deadlines
