Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Beverly Hills, CA, seeks a dedicated and skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its personal injury department. In this critical role, you will manage cases from their initial stages through settlement negotiation, representing clients' interests to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve for injuries caused by negligence or wrongful acts. Your legal expertise will drive successful outcomes while adhering to the firm's commitment to excellence.

Duties:

• Oversee personal injury cases from inception to settlement, including intake, demand preparation, and negotiation.

• Review case files to assess legal strengths and weaknesses and formulate case strategies.

• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress, settlement offers, and key updates.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis of applicable statutes, regulations, and precedents.

• Draft and review demand letters, settlement agreements, and legal documents, ensuring precision and compliance.

• Implement best practices and quality control measures to streamline pre-litigation procedures.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior legal staff, as needed.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the firm.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.

• Passion for personal injury law or previous experience handling Plaintiff-side cases.

• Capability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with clients, opposing parties, witnesses, and professionals.

• A demonstrated commitment to integrity, client advocacy, and professional conduct.

• Strong research, negotiation, and case strategy formulation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the California State Bar.
