Duties:

  • Conduct intake and initial case assessments for new claims.
  • Review case files and evidence to prepare for discovery, mediation, and trial.
  • Draft legal motions, pleadings, and other relevant documents.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of discovery, including depositions and document requests.
  • Prepare and present cases in court and handle trial preparation.
  • Analyze recovery opportunities and develop strategies for plaintiff claims.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved.
  • Handle many cases involving property damage losses ranging from a few thousand dollars to millions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience drafting legal motions and preparing for court proceedings and depositions.
  • Proven track record in analyzing recovery opportunities for plaintiff claims.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Valid Massachusetts Bar license.
  • Previous experience in insurance or subrogation law is highly desirable.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in litigation and trial procedures.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents and motions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
