A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Medical Malpractice Defense team in Uniondale, NY. Duties:

  • Represent clients in court and participate in depositions, conferences, and hearings.
  • Conduct legal and medical research to support case development.
  • Draft motions and other legal documents as needed.
  • Maintain regular client communication and build client confidence.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

  • Admission to practice law in New York.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with team members.
  • Experience with legal research, analysis, and the preparation of litigation documents.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
