Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Litigation Attorney to join its Kennesaw, GA office. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly licensed attorneys to gain significant courtroom and litigation experience. As part of the firm’s litigation team, you will be involved in all phases of the litigation process, from suit initiation through trials and post-judgment proceedings.

Duties:

• Prepare and execute court appearances for hearings, motions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft, review, and approve pleadings, including complaints, motions, discovery documents, and post-judgment proceedings.
• Handle contested hearings and arbitrations, as well as conduct trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure thorough and effective litigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia.
• Additional bar licenses in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, or New York (preferred but not required).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Georgia State Bar membership.

• Strong litigation skills, with the ability to handle all aspects of the litigation process.
• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
