A well-established law firm located in Austin, TX, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team. This full-time, on-site position involves providing legal counsel, conducting thorough research, and managing a personal docket of cases. The Associate Attorney will have the opportunity to work across a range of legal areas, with a focus on construction litigation and related matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice to clients across various legal matters, including construction-related cases.
• Manage a personal docket of cases, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and client representation.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in hearings or trials as needed.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations relevant to clients' needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of active legal practice, particularly in litigation.
• Proven experience in construction litigation is advantageous but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex legal concepts.
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a diverse caseload.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
• Skilled in legal writing, drafting motions, and other legal documents.
• Proficient in case management and use of legal software.
• Ability to navigate complex legal procedures and deliver successful outcomes.
