Duties:

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to clients.
• Manage a large caseload effectively.
• Draft and respond to discovery.
• Conduct document reviews.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients as needed.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in California (required for Associate position).
• Recent law graduates awaiting bar results may transition to the role upon admission to the bar.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience or interest in construction defect litigation and/or public entity defense is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar license (required).
