Job Overview:

A multi-state law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney licensed in Colorado to join its litigation team. Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters for clients in Colorado and Nebraska

  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and administrative proceedings

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Analyze case facts and develop litigation strategy

  • Maintain accurate records, deadlines, and billable time

  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys and team members across multiple jurisdictions

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative bodies

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in litigation and workers’ compensation law

  • Effective case and time management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado

  • Licensure in additional states (e.g., Nebraska) is a plus
