Mid-level Business Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Mid-level Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in litigating matters in the Court of Chancery within a sophisticated business litigation practice. The ideal candidate must have Delaware Bar admission, a superior academic background, and excellent writing and analytical skills.

Duties:

• Representing clients in complex business litigation matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery.
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Handling discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and witness preparation.
• Assisting with trial preparation and strategy, including drafting trial briefs and motions.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client management.
• Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation and dispute resolution strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Delaware Bar with 2-4 years of experience specifically in business litigation.
• Strong understanding of Delaware Court of Chancery procedures and rules.
• Proven track record in handling complex business litigation matters.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
