Associate Attorney Family Law

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its family law practice in Troy, MI. This position focuses on handling a variety of complex family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, spousal support, and property division.

• Represent clients in settlement negotiations, court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to devise case strategies and assist in complex legal issues.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in family law, particularly in divorce, custody, and support matters.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent written, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
• Strong client-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.
• Admission to the Michigan State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
