Duties:

• Handle all aspects of trademark practice, including counseling clients on trademark strategy and brand protection.
• Conduct thorough trademark clearance searches and analyze results.
• Manage trademark prosecution, including drafting and filing trademark applications, responding to office actions, and maintaining registrations.
• Enforce trademark rights, including opposition and cancellation proceedings, as well as cease and desist letters.
• Advise clients on trademark portfolio management and legal risks associated with brand development.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive intellectual property solutions to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• An active member in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property law, specifically in trademark matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active Ohio State Bar membership.

• Expertise in trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, and enforcement.
