Probate and Estate Planning Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Draft and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Advise clients on tax minimization strategies, asset protection, and other estate planning options
• Conduct client meetings to understand individual goals and develop tailored estate plans
• Guide clients through the estate and trust administration process
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients
• Stay updated on changes and developments in estate planning law
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive legal services

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
• At least 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or estate and trust administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting estate planning documents
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar
