A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its Municipal & Public Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal law, public finance, and bond law, with excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex legal matters while providing strategic legal counsel to clients across various municipal and public finance projects.

Duties

  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on topics related to bonds, municipal law, land use, and public finance matters.
  • Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients at court hearings, administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and board meetings.
  • Negotiate and collaborate with opposing counsel and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.
  • Provide clients with actionable legal advice and develop strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Efficiently manage case files from initiation to resolution, ensuring all deadlines and procedures are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including attorneys and support staff, to ensure top-tier client service.
  • Keep up to date with the latest laws, regulations, and trends affecting municipal law, land use, and public finance.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education
