Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on contracts, transactions, and compliance matters

  • Strategize and prepare litigation cases, including trial coaching and support for legal teams

  • Oversee real estate transactions such as acquisitions, leases, and property-related disputes

  • Represent the organization in litigation, including trial preparation and court appearances

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documentation

  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance

  • Collaborate with leadership on legal matters impacting business growth

  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of legal experience

  • Extensive trial and litigation background

  • Expertise in real estate law, including transactions and property disputes

  • Experience in advising businesses or organizations on legal matters

  • Ability to manage multiple legal projects independently

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active member of the California State Bar
