A law firm in Bethlehem is seeking an Attorney. The Attorney will be responsible for handling divorce litigation, custody, alimony, child support, and related family law issues. They must be licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania or be willing to take the necessary bar exam. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in divorce litigation proceedings.
  • Handle custody, alimony, child support, and other family law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Attend court hearings and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
  • Maintain case files and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in family law.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania or willing to take the necessary bar exam.
  • 2-5 years of experience in divorce litigation and family law.
