Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including pre-lawsuit investigations, case evaluations, and strategy development.

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.

• Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.

• Provide legal counsel to clients regarding case progress and strategy.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies.

• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules.

• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in personal injury, professional liability, and/or construction law.

• Strong analytical and legal reasoning skills.

• Effective project management abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
