A law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial real estate transactions. This role involves assisting with various commercial real estate tasks, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, due diligence, and joint ventures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, due diligence, and joint ventures.
  • Structure, negotiate, and draft documents for commercial real estate transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial real estate matters.
  • Review and analyze title reports, surveys, leases, and other due diligence materials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals involved in transactions.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex matters as needed.
  • Provide legal advice and support on commercial real estate issues.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in North Carolina or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and joint ventures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
