Employment Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage and prosecute various employment-related cases, providing strategic counsel and representation to our clients.

Job Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing various employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and educate employers on diverse employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediation, handling class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
• Preference is given to candidates with Class Action/PAGA experience.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Minimum 9+ years of experience specializing in employment litigation, with significant first-chair litigation management experience.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Proven supervisory experience managing associate and paralegal work, including task delegation and feedback provision.
• Comprehensive understanding of current state and federal agency procedures related to employment law.
